Data collection

ABA session data collection software

Therapists record session data from the schedule on a tablet or phone; BCBAs review graphs against mastery criteria.

Take the 2-minute workflow check

In short

ABA data collection software lets therapists record trial, duration, frequency and ABC data during a session and lets BCBAs graph each target against its mastery criterion. In NeuroOps, built by TWO44, every tap is an append-only record, sessions start from the schedule, summaries are computed only at submit, and a submitted session waits for a signed session note before it is billable.

The problem

What breaks in these practices

Without

  • Paper data sheets re-typed after the session.
  • Different data formats at each location.
  • No audit trail for edits to session data.
  • Notes signed late, so billing stalls.

With TWO44

  • Start from the schedule. One session per event, client and renderer.
  • Append-only records. Undo voids a record; nothing is deleted.
  • Mastery graphs. Each target against its criterion, with phase changes confirmed by hand.
  • Late-entry flag. Sessions entered after the allowed window are flagged.
  • Note-gated billing. Billable only after the session note is signed.

Proof

Work in healthcare

Real practices, real systems. Each case study covers the problem, what we built and the result.

Security

HIPAA-conscious by design

We build with the HIPAA Security Rule in mind. Compliance depends on how your practice operates the system, so we do not claim blanket "HIPAA compliant" status. Here is what we put in place.

Business Associate Agreements

We sign BAAs where we handle PHI for a client, and use hosting and vendors that will sign theirs.

Access controls

Role-based access so staff only see the clients and locations they work with.

Audit logs

Who viewed or changed a record, and when, so you can answer an auditor.

FAQ

Common questions

Does it work offline?

Version 1 is online only with an in-memory retry queue. We do not promise offline storage.

Which devices?

Web on tablets, plus native iPhone/iPad and Android clients that use the same server logic.

Who sees the data?

Access is role-based and scoped: therapists see their own sessions, BCBAs their assigned clients.
